Fender Jazz Bass 1975 Olympic White Ash Maple Used Vintage 70s Key FeaturesThis 1975 Fender Jazz Bass is a true vintage gem from the 70s, showcasing the iconic Ash and Maple combination that defines this era. The bass features original body paint with a beautifully aged Olympic White finish, exhibiting a warm, burnt appearance that adds character and charm. The instrument's electronics, including pots and pickups, are largely original, with date codes confirming its 1975 manufacture. The pickups have gray bobbins consistent with the period, though their date cannot be verified due to sponge adhesion. The neck date is partially visible, with "02" confirmed, supporting the 1975 production year. The bass has undergone professional repairs, including refretting, nut replacement, and re-finishing of the fingerboard and neck back, all executed to an exceptional standard. The re-fretting and neck finish are of the highest quality, ensuring smooth playability and low action for effortless performance.Additional modifications include the installation of custom pickguard fences and a likely replacement fingerrest. Despite these enhancements, the bass remains relatively lightweight at 4.46kg, making it comfortable for extended playing sessions. The instrument is in excellent condition, rated B+ for minor cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality. This vintage Jazz Bass is a lively, well-maintained instrument perfect for collectors and players who appreciate the 70s Fender sound and style. Comes with a genuine hard case and a 12-month warranty.Item Specifics:Brand: FenderModel: Jazz BassYear of Manufacture: 1975Country/Region of Manufacture: USASerial Number: 368852Body Finish: Olympic White (aged)Body Material: Ash with Maple topNeck Material: MapleNeck Date: "02" (partially visible)Pickups: Original with gray bobbinsPot Date Codes: 137-7451 (x2), 137-7438Weight: 4.46kgSpecifications Brand Fender Country Japan Color multicolor Product Description🌎 Shipping & Import DutiesFor U.S. Buyers: Shipped via DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
