The "Olympic White" finish has aged beautifully, taking on a rich, vintage character that defines the classic 70s look.Potentiometer codes are 137-7451 (x2) and 137-7438 (tone pot). The pickups are period-correct gray-bobbin types, though date stamps could not be verified due to foam residue adhering to them. The neck date is partially legible ("02" is visible), with the remainder worn away. Based on the overall specifications and serial number, we have determined it to be a 1975 model.Repair history includes a refret, nut replacement, correction of a fretboard hump at the first fret, and refinishing of both the fretboard and the back of the neck. The refret and neck-back finish are superb; the back of the neck, in particular, is of such high quality that it could be considered a work of art. Naturally, it handles low action with ease, delivering perfect playability.Additionally, pickup and bridge covers have been added, and the finger rest appears to have been replaced.Even with the covers installed, the total weight is 4.46kg—impressively light for an instrument of this era. This is a lively, responsive bass that we highly recommend to any 70s-era enthusiast.
