It still has the plastic covering the pick guard. Like new. American Fender 66 JAZZ BASS From Wildwood Music Louisville Colorado. This was $2700 new. Serial number tells me it was manufactured 6/2023. Special ordered for a customer but it came in with one weird chip by the corner on the neck plate where the neck screws in...& one chip by where the output jack plate screws in. Really weird to have a nice American Fender come in like that. You'll see both in photos. Not very noticeable but it would be easy to cover with a tiny drop of paint. They got the customer a new one & an employee got this discounted. He hadn't even taken it home when he saw I put my Ampeg Heritage flip top on marketplace. He wrote & asked if I might be interested..We made the swap & I barely touched it. It still has the plastic covering the pick guard. Never left my studio. Not played an hour. I have other basses & felt this was too nice to play. Perfect like new condition..no dings or scuffs other than the tiny chips it came with. Set up great...plays amazingly well. Great Neck. Very nice hard case & includes the "ashtray" & the small pickup cover with the optional stick on rubber "mute". Has the color matched headstock & white neck binding..Beautiful. One pic has a red dot on the face of the bass..thats just a light on my ceiling reflecting ...I have several colors up there.
