Description Fender / FSR Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Jazz Bass Vintage White A recreation of the "dot-binding" Jazz Bass—a transitional spec from 1966! This model captures the essence of an early 1966 Jazz Bass. It features the classic "dot-binding" configuration: neck binding, a matching headstock, and dot position markers. Naturally, no 1966-style bass would be complete without "paddle" tuners—the very same type found on the highly popular HAMA OKAMOTO Precision Bass. Combined with the matching headstock, these elements create a truly distinctive, authentic vibe. Interestingly, this model shares a striking resemblance to the recently talked-about American-made "American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass," with our Made in Japan series successfully achieving a high level of historical accuracy. It is equipped with USA-made Vintage Jazz Bass pickups, delivering a more powerful sound than the standard "Traditional" series. While the standard "Traditional 60s Jazz Bass" typically uses a basswood body, this model features an alder body—true to the original specifications of the era. It offers a rich midrange and a commanding presence that ensures your tone stands out, even within a full band mix. Be sure to check it out soon! ■ Weight: 4.10 kg ■ Serial Number: JD25018389 ■ Included Accessories: Soft case Body: Alder Neck: Maple Neck Finish: Gloss Urethane Neck Shape: "U" Shape Scale: 34" Fingerboard: Rosewood with binding Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" Number of Frets: 20 Fret Size: Vintage Nut: Bone Nut Width: 38 mm Position Inlays: Ivory dots Pickups: US Vintage Jazz Bass pickups (Bridge, Neck) Controls: Volume 1 (Middle/Neck pickup), Volume 2 (Bridge pickup), Master Tone Bridge: 4-Saddle Vintage-Style Hardware Finish: Chrome Tuning Machines: Paddle-style Pickguard: Red Tortoiseshell Pickup Covers: Black Control Knobs: Black plastic Neck Plate: 4-bolt with logo Strings: 45–105 gauge Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
