Description Fender / FSR Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Jazz Bass Vintage White A faithful reproduction of the "Dot-Binding Jazz Bass"—a transitional 1966 specification! Introducing a special order model (FSR) that faithfully recreates the unique vibe of the early 1966 Jazz Bass with "Made in Japan" quality. Its most distinctive feature is the "dot-binding" style—a look unique to this transitional period—which combines neck binding with dot position markers (prior to the switch to block inlays). It also boasts a matching headstock for added visual impact and is equipped with the iconic "paddle tuners" (the same type found on the Hama Okamoto Precision Bass) that symbolize this era. The result is a special aesthetic sure to impress vintage enthusiasts. For the body material, the standard basswood found on the regular Traditional 60s Jazz Bass has been upgraded to alder—matching the specifications of the original era—delivering a tight, solid low end and a rich, punchy midrange. At its heart, the bass is luxuriously equipped with USA-made "US Vintage Jazz Bass Pickups." These offer a wider dynamic range than the standard Traditional series, producing a powerful, musical vintage tone that cuts through the mix without getting buried. With a 9.5-inch radius fretboard ensuring modern playability, this is a premium, limited-edition instrument. ■S/N: JD25018387 ■Weight: 4.10kg ■Included Accessories: Soft case, adjustment wrench Body Material: Alder Body Finish: Gloss Polyester Neck Material: Maple Neck Shape: "U" Shape Neck Finish: Gloss Urethane Headstock: Matching Headstock Scale Length: 34" (864 mm / Long Scale) Fingerboard Material: Rosewood with Neck Binding Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm) Number of Frets: 20, Vintage Nut Material/Width: Bone / 1.5" (38 mm) Position Inlays: Ivory Dot Bridge: 4-Saddle Vintage-Style Tuning Machines: Paddle Pegs (Vintage-Style Paddle Keys) Pickguard: Tortoiseshell Neck Pickup: US Vintage Jazz Bass Pickup Bridge Pickup: US Vintage Jazz Bass Pickup Pickup Configuration: SS Pickup Covers: Black Pickup Switching: None Controls: Volume 1 (Middle Pickup), Volume 2 (Bridge Pickup), Master Tone Control Knobs: Black Plastic Neck Plate: 4-Bolt with "F" Logo Hardware Finish: Chrome Strings: Nickel Plated Steel (.045-.105 Gauges) Case/Gig Bag: Soft case Country of Origin: Japan (Made in Japan) Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
