Vintage 2-piece Wicker Basket Bassinet w/ Stand and WheelsWhite 1930s-1950s One Owner (my mother)Bassinet Basket sits on a stand and can be removed.Bassinet and Stand are 40" from the floor to the very top of the Basket. It is 31" from the floor to the top of the Bassinet Basket Sides. The Bassinet Basket is 33" long and 20" across from Side to Side. The Stand is 21.5" from the floor to the top.The Stand is 25" long and 18" wide. The Bassinet Basket is in Very Nice Vintage Condition. There are a couple of vertical slats missing that go around the piece.(See Photo #14, #15, #16.)There are also a few spots where the wicker weaving is broken.I have shown these in the photos. There is one area where the wicker weaving may be missing --it is hard to tell if it is missing or just the pattern of the piece since it is so symmetrical. (See Photo #14.)The Stand sides fold down for storage (See Photo #19.)When the Stand is folded up to hold the Bassinet Basket, there are 4 wing nuts toward the bottom of each leg that tighten to secure the Stand. One of these wing nuts is missing and could easily be replaced --the original screw is there.(See last 2 Photos)Even with the wing nuts tightened,it is a bit precarious; the Stand can fold itself down with light pressure. You would have to play around with it to ensure stability. To ensure safety, rather than use it for a baby, it would be awesome in a nursery to display dolls, pillows, etc.The wheels are intact and work great.Could use fresh paint if desired. This Bassinet has been in storage and not used since at least the 1950s.Please study Photos carefully for complete description and condition.Postage Cost includes Insurance.
