Description

View Vintage RARE Mercury GLASS Silver REFLECTOR Pink DIORAMA Cherub CLIP Ornament with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The paper cherub is attached to a pink glass bead which is attached to the diorama interior, see pic. The pink bead reflects off of the silver interior giving it a pink appearance. The clip works as it should. An unusual mercury glass reflector diorama ornament featuring the head, wings, and shoulders of a cherub / angel. In excellent condition with very little wear to the mercury silver surface. The paper cherub is attached to a pink glass bead which is attached to the diorama interior, see pic. The pink bead reflects off of the silver interior giving it a pink appearance. The edge is painted green and has some wear. The clip works as it should.A question has prompted me to add the following:The pink is not colored onto the ornament but a reflection onto the silver mercury glass of a pink glass bead that the angel is glued / affixed to. The whole ornament is actually that silver color inside and out. The light and dark pink stripes effect are due to the striped pink glass bead, which shows the genius of the maker. Its all a reflection and that silver spot to the right is a skip of the reflection. I think it will give off slightly different reflections depending on the light source.
