and alteration. Physical inspection reveals surface scratches, minor scuffs, and small dings on the finish. Significant modifications have been made: the neck pickup has been replaced with a P-90 type pickup, requiring body routing modification under the pickguard (the routing craft quality is somewhat rough). Additionally, the internal potentiometers and capacitor have been upgraded to Orange Drop components. The neck and truss rod conditions are good with easy playability, showing no noticeable fret denting and retaining approximately 70 percent fret life. Total body weight measures approximately 8.16 lbs (3.70 kg). Included is a soft gig bag. Please Note shipping from Japan. Built with a solid body weighing approximately 8.16 lbs (3.70 kg), it delivers comfortable playing balance and solid physical feel. The neck provides smooth action with approximately 70 percent remaining fret life and excellent rod stability. Customized for expanded tone, it features a P-90 style neck pickup alongside upgraded Orange Drop electronics, producing punchy neck warmth combined with classic Telecaster bridge bite. Complete with a soft case for transport, this modified Japanese left-handed electric guitar delivers distinctive tonal versatility and smooth playability for left-handed players and collectors alike. ③ History & Rarity Crafted during the highly regarded Dyna Gakki manufacturing era between 2002 and 2004, Fender Japan 1971 reissue Telecasters are celebrated for their authentic vintage ergonomics and outstanding woodworking quality. Left-handed (Lefty) domestic Japanese Fender models are produced in far lower quantities compared to right-handed counterparts, making genuine MIJ left-handed Telecasters exceedingly rare on the global market. With its player-centric P-90 and Orange Drop circuit modifications, this TL-71-80L represents a rare, versatile find for left-handed guitarists seeking unique Japan Vintage performance. ④ Specifications Brand: Fender JapanVintage: NoCountry of Manufacture: JapanStyle: TelecasterModel: TL-71-80L MODBody Type: SolidString Configuration: 6 StringHandedness: Left-Handed Policy Payment You can use various payment methods based on eBay Managed Payments. Almost all of the items we sell are used or vintage, and most are one-of-a-kind - we hold only a single unit of each item. For consumers habitually resident in an EU Member State - that is, if you are buying mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, and the consumer law of an EU Member State applies to your purchase: If your item has a lack of conformity covered by the applicable legal guarantee, please message us through eBay before returning it. You may choose between repair and replacement. Where the law requires it, the remedy is provided free of the necessary costs to you. Your chosen remedy may not be available if it is impossible, or if compared with the other remedy it would impose disproportionate costs on us. Because our items are used and one-of-a-kind, an identical replacement unit is often not available. If the conditions under the applicable law are met, you may instead be entitled to a proportionate price reduction, or to terminate the purchase and receive a refund. Termination may not be available for a minor lack of conformity. If repair is carried out as the legal remedy, the seller's liability period is normally extended once by at least 12 months. The national law that applies to your purchase may provide a longer period, or a different system giving equivalent protection. We will tell you which rule applies to your purchase, and explain your choice between repair and replacement, before we provide the remedy.
