Item Description The Fender Japan ST72-55 is an authentic Japanese-built Stratocaster manufactured between 1984 and 1987 at the acclaimed Fujigen facility during the sought-after E-serial era. Recreating classic early-1970s Stratocaster specifications, it features a large headstock design paired with a comfortable neck profile and responsive electronics. The bridge saddle height adjustment screws turn smoothly, allowing precise action customization across all six strings. Freshly re-strung with a new set of Fender Super 250 strings, this instrument delivers classic single-coil articulation, rich dynamic range, and solid sustain suitable for live performance and studio recording sessions. The guitar comes complete with its matching tremolo arm bar. 3. History and Rarity Fender Japan instruments produced during the landmark E-series serial era (1984–1987) at the Fujigen factory are celebrated worldwide for superior craft standards, accurate vintage contours, and exceptional acoustic resonance. Built during the golden age of Japanese guitar manufacturing, early Fujigen-made ST72-55 models are highly sought after on the secondary market by players and collectors seeking genuine 1980s Japanese Fender craftsmanship. 4. Almost all of the items we sell are used or vintage, and most are one-of-a-kind - we hold only a single unit of each item. For consumers habitually resident in an EU Member State - that is, if you are buying mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, and the consumer law of an EU Member State applies to your purchase: If your item has a lack of conformity covered by the applicable legal guarantee, please message us through eBay before returning it. You may choose between repair and replacement. Where the law requires it, the remedy is provided free of the necessary costs to you. Your chosen remedy may not be available if it is impossible, or if compared with the other remedy it would impose disproportionate costs on us. Because our items are used and one-of-a-kind, an identical replacement unit is often not available. If the conditions under the applicable law are met, you may instead be entitled to a proportionate price reduction, or to terminate the purchase and receive a refund. Termination may not be available for a minor lack of conformity. If repair is carried out as the legal remedy, the seller's liability period is normally extended once by at least 12 months. The national law that applies to your purchase may provide a longer period, or a different system giving equivalent protection. We will tell you which rule applies to your purchase, and explain your choice between repair and replacement, before we provide the remedy. For buyers outside the European Union: the information above reflects European Union consumer law and applies where that law governs the purchase. Your purchase remains subject to the returns policy shown in this listing, the eBay Money Back Guarantee, and any mandatory rights that apply under the law governing your purchase. Condition: Used.
