It is beautifully crafted and the cupid (putti) closure is very well crafted. This vintage Art Nouveau brass two-piece belt buckle features a beautiful gold color, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to a ribbon sash belt. The design is inspired by the 1920s and showcases the Art Nouveau theme, featuring an always popular....cupid. Crafted from brass, this belt buckle exudes a classic and timeless look that complements a variety of outfits. Obviously this is not an original belt from the 1920s...the price alone says that. This is a reproduction dating probably to the 1970s. It is beautifully crafted and the cupid (putti) closure is very well crafted. Cupid is crisply detailed and chubby, as he should be. The hammered detail on the back adds interesting texture. I was told by the seller that it was made in France. It is not marked. Measures 4" by approximately 2".
