View Vintage Harry P Will Germany Diagonal Cutters Clear Red Handle Pliers Rare 6" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The transparent red handles have a distinctive molded/engraved pattern and give them a much more collectible look than standard utility pliers. The stamp in your photo reads “HARRY P. WILL / WILL / 40/145 / GERMANY.”. These are an unusual and very hard-to-find pair of vintage German cutters. The transparent red handles have a distinctive molded/engraved pattern and give them a much more collectible look than standard utility pliers. The head is marked Harry P. Will / WILL / Germany. They are in excellent vintage condition overall, especially considering their age. The chrome/steel remains bright, the cutting edges present well, and the clear red handles are intact with great color and clarity. There are some light scratches and normal signs of previous use on the metal, all shown clearly in the photos. The 40/145 marking appears to be a model/size designation, not a limited-edition serial number.I have had a very difficult time finding another identical pair with these clear red handles, making this an especially interesting piece for collectors of vintage German tools, electrician tools, pliers, or unusual workshop pieces.Harry P. Will was a historic German tool manufacturer with roots dating to the 19th century and became particularly known for its pliers and hand tools. The stamp in your photo reads “HARRY P. WILL / WILL / 40/145 / GERMANY.” The company’s roots go back to a tool factory founded by Harry Paul Will’s ancestors in Schmalkalden, Germany, in 1844. The Harry P. Will Werkzeugfabrik name was formally registered in 1948, and the company later became a major German plier manufacturer; its own history says its Neustadt factory was among the more modern plier factories in the world by the early 1990s. Knipex acquired Will Werkzeuge after its 2005–06 insolvency, and the business eventually became part of OrbisWill. Condition: Used.
