This is the later embossed variation collectors look for, as the earliest ones were not marked with the number. It has the pivoting saw guide that swings and locks to set your cut angle, the graduated back fence with saw-support uprights, and the front adjustment knob, all mounted on the original wood board base. Made in the USA. No saw is included, which is how a lot of these trade. This is the miter box and guide only. Condition is honest vintage. The black japanned finish is worn with surface rust, heaviest on the swing arm and the saw-guide uprights. The wood base is solid but dusty and worn and would clean up with a wipe-down. Sold as-is. Great for a woodworker who wants a working vintage miter box for trim and molding, or as a cleanup and display project. Recognizable Stanley name that always draws tool buyers. Measurements to add before posting: cast iron box width (about 14 in) x depth (about 7 in). Condition: Used. Category: Collectibles › Tools, Hardware & Locks › Tools › Carpentry, Woodworking › Saws.
