Best option would be to cut the green around the applique to give it a little more heft. SIZE: Just the CANDY CANE measures 6-1/4" x 2-1/2" approx. CONDITION: What DOES NOT show in my picture is how perfect the patina is to the applique. This IS NOT a store bought piece, some one stitched everything on by hand - from one of the kits so popular in the 1960s. It's not shiny/shiny, it's not new/new and the beads have definitely mellowed with age. I doubt you will find another piece like this any time too soon. USES: Oh, I don't know. Apply it to a Christmas Stocking, add to the front of a doll's dress, back it onto cardboard and make an ornament.
