Basses this good don’t come around that often, so make sure you grab yours today!Resonant body woods and comfortable neck Before the pickups get involved, the tone starts with your bass’ tonewoods. For the SR400EPBDX, Ibanez chose a nyatoh body. Nyatoh, sometimes called nato, has gained a reputation for its warm, mid-forward character that’s oh-so-similar to mahogany. The body comes bolted to a 5-piece maple and walnut neck that adds an extra helping of top-end shimmer. Together, the body and neck deliver truckloads of resonance and sustain that any bass player can appreciate.PowerSpan pickups and flexible onboard EQ Ibanez’s proprietary PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups take the classic humbucker design to a new level of performance. These pickups offer a rich tone with smooth top-end harmonics and powerful lows. And with the 3-way Power Tap switch, you can tailor the sound of the pickups to meet your tonal needs. Power Tap offers a powerful humbucker sound, clear single-coil goodness, and an enhanced single-coil sound with extra lows. As if that’s not enough versatility, Ibanez included a 3-band EQ for further shaping your tone.Reliable tuning stability and solid hardware Aside from tone, reliable hardware is one of the things that bassists at Sweetwater look for in a new bass. The Ibanez SR400EPBDX comes with an Accu-cast B500 bridge. Aside from efficiently transferring string vibration to the body, the bridge’s adjustable string spacing lets you tailor the feel of the strings to your liking. And since nobody likes knocking their bass out of tune after a single song, Ibanez loaded the SR400EPBDX with their specially designed tuning machines to help keep you in tune for longer.Ibanez SR400EPBDX 4-string Electric Bass Features: Nyatoh body produces a warm, resonant tone Poplar burl top adds attractive good looks Walnut/maple neck sits comfortably in the hand Jatoba fingerboard and medium frets for supreme playability PowerSpan humbucking pickups serve up classic soapbar tone with no hum Power Tap switch lets you choose between three pickup voices Onboard 3-band EQ offers extra tonal flexibility Accu-cast B500 bridge enables custom string spacing SpecificationDetail Number of Strings 4 Left-/Right-handed Right-handed Body Shape SR400 Body Material Nyatoh with Poplar Burl top Color Tropical Seafloor Burst Body Finish Gloss Polyurethane Neck Material 5-piece Maple/Walnut Neck Shape SR4 Neck Joint Bolt-on Radius 12" Fingerboard Material Jatoba Fingerboard Inlay White Dots Number of Frets 24, Medium Nickel Scale Length 34" Nut Width 1.496" Nut Material Plastic Bridge/Tailpiece Accu-cast B500 Tuners Ibanez Neck Pickup PowerSpan Dual Coil Humbucker Bridge Pickup PowerSpan Dual Coil Humbucker Controls 1 x master volume, 1 x balance, 3-band Active EQ Strings .045-.105 Case/Gig Bag Sold Separately RETURN INFORMATION We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Sweetwater.
