Description [Used] FENDER USA / American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass 2-Knob 3-Color Sunburst The classic American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass! This instrument features the iconic '62-style "stack-knob" configuration found on Fender's flagship electric basses. It is equipped with an alder body, a maple neck, a slab-style rosewood fingerboard, and dot position markers. While faithfully adhering to vintage specifications—such as reverse-wind tuners and a lacquer finish—it delivers that quintessential, timeless tone derived from the combination of familiar single-coil pickups, an alder body, and a rosewood fingerboard. There are minor dings and play wear throughout; the headstock logo shows signs of abrasion, and there are numerous dings on the top of the headstock and the back of the neck. The instrument has been over-lacquered. Regarding the neck condition, there is a slight "kink" (or dip) and limited remaining truss rod adjustment; the frets are also somewhat low, though there are currently no issues with buzzing or playability. Additionally, there is dullness and plating loss on the metal hardware, as well as rust on the bridge saddles. The rear tone capacitor has been replaced.
