Description Fender Custom Shop / Limited Edition 1962 Precision Bass Relic Aged Candy Apple Red (Long-term store display item, slightly scratched, outlet price) We have received a Limited Edition 1962 Precision Bass from Fender's pinnacle line, the Fender Custom Shop! This instrument embodies the classic Precision Bass formula, featuring a 2-piece alder body, a quartersawn maple neck with a "60 P-Bass Oval 'C'" profile, and a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius. The fingerboard utilizes a "slab-board" design, faithfully replicating the specifications found on models from the early 1960s. Equipped with a hand-wound "62 P-Bass" pickup, it delivers a straightforward, punchy midrange—the quintessential Precision Bass sound. The Relic finish reveals the underlying white and gold layers where the red top-coat has worn away near the body contours, evoking the authentic feel of an instrument with over 60 years of history. This is an instrument ready for immediate professional use; we highly recommend considering it! ■ S/N: CZ584174 ■ Weight: 4.04kg (3.92kg with bridge and pickup covers removed) ■ Accessories: Certificate of Authenticity, hard case Body: Alder 2-piece Finish: Lacquer Neck: Quartersawn Maple / "60 P-Bass Oval 'C'" Shape Fingerboard: AAA Rosewood / 7.25" radius Frets: 20 Medium Jumbo (6150) Pickup: Hand-Wound 62 P-Bass Bridge: P/J Bass RH/LH Relic Tuning Machines: Vintage Bass Nickel Relic RH Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
