Brand new Guitar Parts Zone Humbucking Alnico 5 Magnet Wax Potted and Scatter Wound Bridge Pickup with 6 adjustable pole pieces in Polished Nickel with a baseplate made of Nickel Silver which is used because of quality, durability, and sound and being that it is very hard and strong with durable threads for the height-adjustment screws. Many people can hear the difference between pickups with nickel-silver baseplates and those that use softer alloys like brass or pot metal. The baseplate metal has a direct effect on a pickup’s inductance. Great replacement or as an upgrade for Gibson / Epiphone and other brand electric guitars or for that custom project. Outstanding price outstanding quality and outstanding powerful sound at 17.2K, 8.8H. A guitar using Alnico 5 Magnets gives out a stronger or sharper sound and the bass is stronger as well with the highs and the lows. The low end is full and powerful, the highs are crisp and detailed and there’s an upper-midrange bump that will add crunch and chunk to those heavy chords but will translate into a singing, vocal-like quality when you play single notes or solos offering sweet sustain and full sounding cords. Ideal with a 500k pot for great high-end cut or you could try a 250k pot to sweeten and soften the tone for smoother styles. This pickup is great for playing a wide range of music styles including country, heavy blues, classic rock, southern rock and hard rock and metal. You can wire this standard, coil tapping, splitting or series/parallel style. Pole spacing is 52mm. This pickup will perform similar to a Seymour Duncan JB model.
