Description Fender 1973 Jazz Bass 3TS 4.240kg #347783 Fender is, needless to say, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses. Loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee, The Jazz Bass was released as an advanced model of the Precision Bass. Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence to this day. This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1973. The neck pickup volume pot indicates 1973, the bridge pickup volume pot indicates 1971, and the master tone pot indicates 1971. Taking the specifications and serial number into consideration, we have determined this to be a 1973 model. The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, popular specs. The pickups are gray bobbin, and the pickup date is 8102. If the last digit indicated the year of manufacture, it would be 1972, but since it is not the standard six-digit number, it may not be an original. The texture appears to be original, but please understand that this cannot be confirmed with certainty. The capacitor may not be original either. The tuning machines and bridge are likely original. It has been refretted and re-nutted accordingly. As a result, it is in relatively good condition. I believe it will hold up for many years to come. This bass has a wonderful balance of clarity and earthiness, typical of a '70s Jazz Bass. Approximately 60% of the frets remain. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition; there is some twisting toward the first string, with a tendency toward forward bow. As a result, with the GIB standard string height (2.0mm-2.5mm at the 12th fret), there is a buzzing sound on the first and second strings. To completely eliminate this buzzing sound, the string height needs to be raised by 0.5mm. The body and paint show signs of use, with dents, scratches, peeling paint, and feather checking. There is also some tarnish on the metal parts. There are visible traces of screw holes from where the pickup fence, finger rest, and bridge cover were attached. The electrical system is in good condition. The guitar has been refretted and re-nutted. One wiring section has been replaced. Controls: Neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, master tone Nut width: 37.9mm Bridge string spacing: 19.0mm Scale: 34 inches Year of manufacture: 1973 Country of manufacture: USA Accessories: Soft case Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
