Description Fender Custom Shop 2024 Custom Collection Time Machine Series 1954 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic (Aged Vintage Blonde) The 2024 limited edition 1954 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic is now in stock! With its commitment to wood and thorough quality control, Fender Custom Shop is the ultimate Fender in modern times. This model is one of the most popular mid-50s Precision Basses, and it has a unique presence. It features a carefully selected two-piece ash body and a maple neck/fretboard made of high-quality 1P maple. It fits well in the hand, has a firm neck grip, medium jumbo frets, and a 7.25 radius fretboard curve, and while you can feel the thickness of the grip unique to the '50s P-bass, it produces a tight mid-range with smooth fingering and the attack unique to the maple fretboard and ash body. The color is Vintage Blonde, which is popular among electric basses, and the Journeyman Relic finish is between Closet Classic and Relic, which reproduces the aging that occurs when the bass is used indoors for a long time, rather than being taken outside for a live performance, and is finished with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer that is unique to custom shops. The ash and maple is just like a 54 P-bass, and has a clear, crisp attack. You can enjoy a powerful mid-range sound that bites into you, which is a little different from the P-bass of the early 60s, which has a subdued and wet atmosphere. It is a sound that is likely to have a strong presence in funky, bouncy phrases, rock phrases with a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere, and songs with a strong, pulling feel. ■GENERAL: B4 54 PBASS JRN - AVBL ■Body material: 2-Piece Select Ash ■Neck: 1-Piece Quartersawn Maple 34 (864 mm) - Nitrocellulose Lacquer ■Fingerboard: 1-Piece Quartersawn Maple Neck / Black Micarta Dot ■Neck Shape: 1955 Soft V ■Nut: Bone 1.70 (43.2 mm) ■PU: Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 Precision Bass ■Control: Volume, Tone Weight: Approx. 4.09 kg Hard case included Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
