Old zinn / tin Lametta / metal foil from the c 1950s. 6-12 FOLDERS OF TINSEL REQUIRED FOR FLOOR TO CEILING TREE. This tinsel was hand packed by ladies at home doing piece work to earn extra money so the content weight varies from around as they "eyeballed" the amount which they selected from the big hank and then applied the paper twist in order to fold it in half and slide the tinsel into the envelope. These icicles (tinsel) are real zinn / tin lametta / metal foil. They hang like a dream, stay on the branches, don't slither off onto the floor like shoddy Mylar / plastic. THIS IS GERMAN CHRISTMAS TREE TINSEL WHICH ARRIVES FLAT IN A PAPER ENVELOPE, IT IS NOT AMERICAN TINSEL WHICH ARRIVES CRINKLED IN A PACKAGE. GERMAN TINSEL ARRIVES FLAT AND CRINKLES WITH USE AND HANDLING. THIS IS NOT THE VERY HEAVY ALUMINUM AMERICAN TINSEL OF THE 1950S AND 60S, it is vintage German real metal foil / zinn (tin) lametta.
