This classic yet luxurious 100% cashmere Gucci turtleneck sweater dates to Spring 1995, towards the beginning Tom Ford’s time designing for Gucci. Several others sleeveless sweaters in the same silhouette but with a slightly differing necklines were presented in the runway collection, and this fabulous bright orange color was featured throughout the show in many outfits. This sweater is in very good vintage condition with no holes or stains. The only minor imperfection to note is a general fuzziness / light pilling throughout. This can be easily remedied with a cashmere comb or fabric shaver, if so desired, but I chose to leave it as is because I personally feel that the fuzziness makes it look more interesting.The tag indicates a size Medium, but vintage pieces often run small. I think this would be a better fit for someone who wears a modern size Small. Please note that the fit is meant to be cropped and tight.
