Made in Newark, NJ, USA. Pat 19028. Excellent~almost perfect condition, except it needs polishing and the top doesn't open all the way, needs oiled(?) I am afraid to try and clean/ polish it and risk damaging it, especially the leather. A truly Beautiful, Elegant lighter to add to any collection. *I am not a collector, all my items belong to me or were my parents. *My Daddy bought numerous lighters while stationed in Germany & Europe from 1945-1952. *I do not know how my parents acquired this lighter. *I don't think Daddy would buy a lighter with engraved initials. I think they had a friend with initials JRL that visited & left the lighter. From my clean, smoke-free home. IF you have any questions, Please Ask.
