DescriptionFender Japan ST62 Used Electric Guitar [AUTH]The most noteworthy feature of this instrument is the practical custom work done to the electronics (pickups). The rear pickup is a Vanzandt pickup, which has garnered immense support from both professionals and amateurs for its superb vintage tone.Even when distorted, the sound does not become muddy, resulting in a thick, edgy drive sound. Furthermore, the front and center pickups also feature cloth-wrapped wire, resulting in a truly authentic sound with excellent attack and nuanced expression.Regarding the condition, the engraved neck plate has been replaced with an aftermarket/different part, and the exact year of manufacture and serial number are unknown. As mentioned above, this is a modified instrument with the electronics, including the pickups, replaced. While there are some scratches and minor dents commensurate with its age, the neck condition, fret life, and electronics function well, maintaining a player's condition. Thanks to the custom work, this is a ready-to-use instrument that delivers a more articulate and authentic sound than a standard ST62.This is the perfect opportunity for those looking for a "practical Stratocaster with great sound" that can be used extensively for live performances and recordings, without being particular about fine details like serial numbers.
