Disston 16" backsaw 12 ppi, will clean up nicely. Handle has been replaced. This is usually referred to as a No. 4 steel back, however according to the Disstonian Institute, prior to 1928 three different numbers were used, "the common No. 4, with a blue back (darkened and given a bit of rust resistance by coating heated steel with linseed oil), the No. 5, featuring a brass back, and the No. 7, which had a bright steel back."
