Description Fender / American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass Rosewood 3-Color Sunburst Introducing the American Vintage II series—an ultra-accurate recreation of iconic, groundbreaking instruments! The American Vintage II series offers remarkably precise recreations of the revolutionary electric guitars and basses that changed the course of music history. These instruments embody the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone, featuring period-accurate body shapes, neck profiles, hardware configurations, and premium finishes—along with pickups meticulously voiced for specific eras. The late 1950s and early 1960s marked a pivotal era that introduced many of the defining features of the Precision Bass. In 1960, the Precision Bass design shifted from Telecaster-style elements to a Stratocaster-inspired aesthetic, adopting features such as a new headstock shape, contoured body, pickguard-mounted electronics, and a four-saddle bridge. Finished in 3-Color Sunburst and equipped with a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, the 1960 Precision Bass achieved a timeless, sophisticated look. Specifications such as a premium alder body, Pure Vintage ‘60 Split-Coil P-Bass pickup, and a 1960 “C”-shaped maple neck with a 7.25-inch radius slab rosewood fingerboard and 20 vintage-tall frets perfectly recreate the sound and feel of the original 1960 model. The American Vintage II series faithfully revives the guitars and basses that laid the foundation of Fender, designed for players who cherish the tone and feel of vintage Fender instruments. It brings the legendary guitars and basses that shaped music history back to life using modern manufacturing techniques. ■Weight: 4.10kg ■Serial number: V26600 ■Accessories: Hard case Body Material: Alder Body Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer Neck: Maple, 1960 “C” Neck Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer Fingerboard: Slab Rosewood, 7.25” (184.1 mm) Frets: 20, Vintage Tall Position Inlays: Clay Dot (Slab Rosewood) Nut Material/Width: Bone, 1.70” (43.2 mm) Tuning Machines: Pure Vintage Reverse Open-Gear Scale Length: 34” (86.36 cm) Bridge: Pure Vintage 4-Saddle with Threaded Steel Saddles Pickguard: 4-Ply Tortoiseshell Pickups: (Bridge), Pure Vintage ‘60 Split-Coil Precision (Middle), (Neck) Pickup Switching: None Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone Control Knobs: Knurled Flat-Top Hardware Finish: Nickel/Chrome Strings: Fender USA 7250M Nickel Plated Steel (.045-.105 Gauges), PN 0737250406 Case/Gig Bag: Vintage-Style Brown (Orange Interior) Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
