Contrasting rose-gold and yellow-gold tones add warmth and definition to the layered flower. Two embossed leaves, an expressive curled tendril, extended stems and a wrapped bouquet-style collar complete the graceful botanical design.The CA-with-arrow Carl-Art maker’s mark appears on the hinged pin-stem assembly. Additional markings on the hinge housing are substantially worn and cannot be read with certainty. Carl-Art frequently produced jewelry marked 1/20 12K gold filled on silver, but the complete metal designation on this particular brooch cannot be confirmed. No obvious missing decorative components were observed. The hinged pin stem and C-clasp are present, and the pin seats into the clasp.The CA-with-arrow maker’s mark remains visible on the hinge assembly. Other markings in this area are substantially worn and cannot be confidently interpreted.The open-ended stems appear intentional to the original bouquet design. Vintage patina has been retained.
