Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is a used Fender Mexico Stratocaster electric guitar modified with a Floyd Rose-type tremolo system for high tuning stability and a lock nut neck. The original 21-fret fingerboard was extended to 22 frets at a workshop, equipped with Jescar 57110 stainless steel frets replaced about 2 months ago, with almost no wear. The pickups have been modified: the rear pickup replaced with a DiMarzio Tone Zone F; the 5-way switch wiring altered to disable positions 1 and 2, using positions 3, 4, and 5 for front, front-plus-rear mix, and rear pickup selections. The rear pickup has a coil tap switch. The pickguard was replaced with an Amazon purchase and repositioned slightly right at the volume knob; the center pickup is a dummy but can be wired in. The bridge is mounted flush without recessed routing. The string action at the 12th fret is set at 1. 2mm on the 1st string side and 1.6mm on the 6th string side, professionally set during fret replacement with no buzzing or note choking. Condition shows some scratches and marks consistent with used wear. Included is the tremolo arm and a soft case as a bonus. The headstock shows "Fender Stratocaster Original Contour Body", with tuning machines bearing Fender logos and "MX10 Made in Mexico" stamp on the back. This is a uniquely modified Mexican Strat with HSS pickup configuration and high-quality stainless steel frets for durability and performance. Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
