(Titles omitted)The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass. Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today. This is a 1976 Jazz Bass. Each potentiometer is engraved with "137751""1377514"The serial number indicates it was manufactured in 1976.Based on the above, we have determined it to be a 1976 model. The body is made of ash, and the neck and fretboard are made of one-piece maple. These are specifications typical of the 1970s.The body weighs 4.4kg, which is relatively light for an Ash/Maple guitar of this era.The body and neck are connected with a three-bolt joint. The pickups are the original gray bobbin pickups. The bridge has been replaced with a BADASSBASS II.The pickguard has been replaced. As a result, additional holes for the pickguard have been added. The tight lows, bright highs, and sharply scooped midrange are exactly what we imagine a 70s Fender JB to be.Recommended for those looking for a ready-to-play 70's JB that can continue to be used for many years to come.Approximately 60% of the frets remain. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. There is a crack in the nut below the 2nd string, but this does not affect playability. The body and paintwork show minor scratches and dents. There is paint peeling on the horn area of the back of the body. There is a paint crack on the 3rd fret inlay. There is a green paint-like substance on the body end.The electronics are in good condition. The control plate appears to have been replaced with a new one. The bridge has been replaced with a BADASSBASS II. It seems that the potentiometers have been later modified to connect the backs of the potentiometers and ground them. The pickguard has been replaced (this has resulted in the addition of pilot holes for the pickguard). Refretting and nut replacement may have been performed. The strap pins have been replaced with Jim Dunlop pins.Controls: Neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, toneNut width: 39.5mmBridge string spacing: 19.0mmScale: 34 inchesYear of manufacture: 1975Country of manufacture: USAOriginal strings, GIBBASIC Standard Bass Strings, were used during setup. These strings are characterized by their straightforward sound and stable playability, naturally bringing out the instrument's inherent character. These are highly reliable strings that we actually use in our repair and setup workshops.Enjoy these strings, aiming to be a new standard for bassists.Delivered after being adjusted for easy playability by GIB's craftsmen.Accessories: Hard case, original pickguardText: Tomoki HayakawaInspection: YamajiProduct photos: MiuraGIB includedUp to 15% OFF with trade-inWhen purchasing, you will receive a 10% discount when you use our trade-in service.
