Description

View VERY BEST MADE Sargent VBM No 3408 Transitional Smooth Plane Type 3 1910-18 with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Make this one yours and try it out. This 8 1/4 inch long plane is marked SARGENT VBM No. 3408 on the toe and SARGENT VBM New Haven USA on the iron. The iron could use a fresh edge before use but that adjustments are all it lacks from going back to work. They say the Beechwood body leaves a little different surface than a metal body plane, sounds good anyway but I've never tested it. Make this one yours and try it out.For information on old tools the resources at Mid West Tool Collectors Association are top notch. They have links collected there for everything antique tool related.Make sure to I am in a selling mood, it's not Christmas yet but schit has to go, offers is set to let me see offers that I don't think I'll take, might change my mind..........
