They come in their original McKinney Mfg. Co., Scranton, PA box with a bag of slotted flat head wood screws.McKinney is one of America's oldest hinge makers. The company started in 1865 in a small Cincinnati machine shop and moved to Pittsburgh in 1878. Its hinges were made in the heart of the Pennsylvania steel industry for generations. McKinney has been part of Assa Abloy since 1996 and still makes architectural hinges today. Vintage stock in the original labeled box is getting hard to find, and it's a nice match for period restorations. Each hinge is a full mortise, five-knuckle design with button tips, radius corners, and the McKinney name stamped into the leaf.Measurements: 3.5" x 3.5" openCondition: New old stock, never installed. One hinge has a hazy, scuffed area of finish wear on one leaf, with some darker toning toward the edge. Both hinges have a few small dark specks and light wear on the knuckle ends. The edges are rough-cut as they came from the factory. The box shows age, with a torn flap and a torn corner on the label. Condition: Used.
