Description

View Presented By EC ATKINS & Company PRESENTATION SAW Perfection handle High polish with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Yes it is only a lowly butcher saw that won't get a look from most collectors but if you want the best of everything in your collection it would be hard to find a nicer butcher saw. If you did want a great saw to use I am sure this one will last a generation or two with just moderate care. Yes it is only a lowly butcher saw that won't get a look from most collectors but if you want the best of everything in your collection it would be hard to find a nicer butcher saw. With almost 15 inches between the pins and an overall length of about 21 1/2 inches it won't take up too much display space, needs lights to take advantage of the high polish chrome and polished apple perfection handle. I can't be certain on the date but I usually date Atkins hand saws with chip carving to pre 1920's as they started pressing the floral pattern about then, the font on the presentation makes me lean this way as well. There are a few small rust specs and some scratches but just wear from storage, doubt this ever saw meat. If you did want a great saw to use I am sure this one will last a generation or two with just moderate care. How many chances do you have at a presentation saw, if this were a hand saw the price would be four figures, make it yours before I change my mind and put it back on the wall. Make sure to Buy two or more of my saws at the same time and I will ship for the highest shipping costs for one saw in the lot. Condition: Used.
