Description Moon JB-4C R CR -Vintage White MH- #59358 [4.39kg] [Lacquer finish] Moon instruments have long been cherished by countless artists both in Japan and abroad. We are pleased to introduce the JB-4C, a "trad-style" model from this manufacturer—renowned for its finely defined note articulation and rapid response. The precise note definition makes it easier to execute intricate phrases and tight ensemble hits, while the fast response allows you to play exactly as you feel, helping you discover your own unique style. We invite you to experience this sound for yourself. From the manufacturer's website: An exceptionally straightforward passive bass built around a carefully selected two-piece alder body. Featuring a rare color finish, this model offers a timeless, simple aesthetic and a dry, articulate sound in the mid-to-high frequencies, making it a versatile instrument suitable for any genre. Despite its classic design, the finish exudes elegance. Great attention has been paid to every detail—including the pickguard, which utilizes a rare 4-ply tortoiseshell type. The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the wood to resonate naturally, producing a deep, warm tone. It comes standard with vintage-style reverse-wind tuners, boasting specifications that rival higher-end models. It is equipped with Oxalis JB-CLASSIC pickups, featuring fully hand-wound coils made with Swiss-manufactured wire. By using nitrocellulose lacquer—the same material found on vintage Fenders—starting from the base coat, the instrument fully maximizes the wood's natural resonance. You will also notice the neck's comfortable, organic feel, which differs significantly from the texture of thick urethane finishes. The fretboard is made of Honduran rosewood, which is characterized by a tighter, more focused sound compared to Indian rosewood. This material is used on all rosewood-fretboard models of the JB-4 CLASSIC. ■Body: Alder ■Neck: Maple ■Fingerboard: Honduras Rosewood, 210R ■Number of Frets: 21 ■Pickup: Oxalis JB-CLASSIC ■Finish: Lacquer ■Controls: 2 Volume, Tone ■Case: Gig Bag ■Weight: 4.39kg ■Serial Number: 59358 *Please note that the colors in the posted images may differ slightly from how the instrument appears to the naked eye, depending on camera characteristics, display settings, and other factors.
