Hammer measures approximately 15.5" overall and weighs approximately 2 lb 11.1 oz. The steel head has two striking faces and shows substantial age, oxidation, surface rust, discoloration, scratches, dings and general working wear consistent with an older hand tool. The wooden handle has darkening, scratches, dents and other age/use wear. There is old black tape wrapped around the handle directly below the hammer head, with visible wear to the wood in this area. The end of the wooden handle has an impressed/stamped marking that appears to read “I664M” or possibly “1664M.” No identifiable manufacturer marking was found, so the hammer is being listed as unbranded.
