The Donkey is very naturalistic with glass eyes, maybe real hair tail and mane, bridled in great condition face and body. Note: The back drop, velvet flooring and flocked trees are background and not a part of the Putz for sale. For your consideration is an Early to Middle Century Christmas Santa/Putz set, Santa with baskets aside woodland, rides Donkey as staged. Backdrop with 4 staged snow covered trees are not included.. The Putz items for sale include:Antiqued rosy red flannel like with fur trim Santa/Belsnickel with traditional face. I do. not know the actual age of where this is from. The face could be composition, clay, and the finish is not matte rather more enamel painted. The boots appear to be composition.Santa carries a handmade dark stained basket containing a feather tree, sheep, small mercury bead strand.The Donkey is very naturalistic with glass eyes, maybe real hair tail and mane, bridled in great condition face and body.Note: The back drop, velvet flooring and flocked trees are background and not a part of the Putz for sale. Everything is realistic and naturalistic in design to replicate the traditional German Woodland Putz. I believe it is staged beautifully and needs nothing more but this decision is at the pleasure of the new owner.Reasonable offers considered in relation to the value of all Putz peices.All pieces will be packed in bubble wrap, foam and secured.
