Measures 18" Tall x 7" (shoulder to shoulder) x 8.5" (sitting up, from back to end of legs), weighs 1 lb. 5-way jointed (at neck, shoulders and top of legs), antique, excelsior/wood wool stuffed, gold/honey mohair color, missing eyes. Features a traditional flat back profile with a slight natural slope at shoulders and a distinct center back seam. Traditional excelsior (wood-wool/straw) stuffing, mostly firm but can hear historic "cracking" sound when gently compressed in some areas. Genuine golden honey mohair plush, age-related thinning exposes the authentic woven cotton backing cloth grid underneath. Wide-set legs, long curved arms, a sturdy upright neck joint, hand stitched nose and mouth. The hand and foot pads are made of an original ribbed, woven cotton canvas fabric, traditional gathered toe stitching are in beautiful condition. Based on characteristics was likely made in USA by the Ideal Novelty & Toy Company, or it is a post WWI German export bear made for the American market.
