The blade has Millers Falls logo it is nearly full length and has been freshly sharpened with the correct 25 degree bevel. Millers Falls made very good quality bench planes and competed well with Stanley. Vintage, complete and very good condition Millers Falls No 900 smoothing plane. Same size as Stanley’s no 4 plane. It is approx 9 inches long with a blade width of 2 inches. Millers Falls made very good quality bench planes and competed well with Stanley. This plane was manufactured circa late 1950’s or nearly 70 years ago. This plane will last another long lifetime with normal maintenance. Metal bed and all other metal parts are fine, no cracks breaks, or repairs. I placed a straight edge along the sole and it appears perfectly straight, no warping, see photo. The Hardwood handles are very good also. The rear tote has a tight and very well done repair about midway. The front knob is great. The blade has Millers Falls logo it is nearly full length and has been freshly sharpened with the correct 25 degree bevel. The chip breaker edge has been flattened where is meets up with the blade, see last photo. All adjustments move and work smoothly. Fine collectible user.
