View Vintage Christmas BIMINI 5" HAND BLOWN MERCURY GLASS REINDEER - GERMANY 1920's with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Not certain how it has an almost flocked look to it, but given the clarity of the glass in certain spots it appears that its white sheen can be removed. Any reflections, white spots or irregular looking shading patterns in the photos (amplified when using the enlarge feature) are due to glare from outdoor light. Item Description:Up for auction is this fabulous, vintage, mercury glass reindeer. Produced in Germany before WWII, reindeer is in excellent, near mint condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. We've examined it carefully with a loop, and the delicate tips of its antlers, ears and tail are just perfect! Not certain how it has an almost flocked look to it, but given the clarity of the glass in certain spots it appears that its white sheen can be removed. Stands approximately 5" tall on a 2 5/8" by 1 1/8" base and retains its original paper Germany label. Please view our photos carefully as they are part of the description. Any reflections, white spots or irregular looking shading patterns in the photos (amplified when using the enlarge feature) are due to glare from outdoor light.
