We are offering a Gilner 1950 green Pixie elf sitting on the branch of a chartreuse tree trunk vase for this listing. It is marked in bold letters on the bottom of the tree, “Gilner 1950 R California.” Unfortunately, when being used as a vase, the Pixie's face must have gotten really wet and stayed that way for a time, because all the paint is gone (see last photo). The facial features are there and someone who is really talented in face painting could probably make it good as new again. This is a pretty rare Gilner piece and it would be good to restore it. There is no other damage to the pottery. Please see the photos. Measurements are 5” t. x 3 ¾” w.Be sure to view all the photos. For some of our listings, the photos have a scroll down arrow.
