Fender's Time Machine series was a limited run starting in 2014, with the intention of faithfully reproducing models from notably good years. “1964 was an especially great year for the Precision Bass,” Fender said at the time, creating relic'd replicas that are meticulously remade using the same tools and techniques from the past.This one almost fooled us! It has a nitrocellulose-finished Alder body and quartersawn Maple neck topped with a round-laminated Rosewood board and vintage-style frets. It feels and sounds like the real thing and plays great. It's in excellent condition, as well.
