The etching is better in person than in the pictures. Etch is harder to see at the bottom, but with proper light, one can see quite a bit there. Saw is straight, sharp and ready to be put to work. When they're this nice, I don't do more than dust them off. About 3-1/4" of plate under the back. Wood has owner's mark and some white paint gooped on in spots. Horns are nice and full, with no damage to report. Plenty of character in the wood. Also, owner's mark on the back of the back. Please see the pictures for the condition of this item.I rate this item in Excellent+ Used Condition. This item is properly packed for fast, secure shipping. Ships same day you purchase. Ebay estimates shipping cost when you shop or check out and sometimes they're a bit high in their estimates, items of this size may be over by as much as 10%-20%. This is because they show you Standard rates, which I've heard are increasing. Keep in mind that Ebay takes 13.6% of what you pay for shipping as a fee for me, as well as the tax you pay. Then they offer me a discount when I buy a shipping label from them. The net result of this is always less than the Standard Rates (except for Media Mail, no discount on labels), but how much is only seen when I get the label. Once I know the actual shipping cost, we refund the difference back to you. For example, the last saw we shipped had a $3 refund for shipping. Please don't be too concerned with this. We simply ask you to take it into consideration when shopping and buying. Whenever Ebay charges more than the shipping label actually costs, we refund the overage. So if you see a high shipping amount being estimated or charged, you can rest assured you will only be charged what shipping actually cost us by the method you choose. That's our promise to you.Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money will be cheerfully refunded, no questions asked. We take good pictures and describe anything that might be of interest to prospective buyers. After all, honesty truly is the best policy. Please buy with confidence. We've been selling here on eBay since the beginning and have 100% positive feedback. Condition: Used. Category: Collectibles › Tools, Hardware & Locks › Tools › Carpentry, Woodworking › Saws.
