Yes way and none too soon. You get your foot in there and it warms and shapes to the contour of your foot so you don't even feel like you're wearing shoes. The heels are perfectly placed and always the right height and well, they're perfect - and simple and when you're rounding your middle years, you're not looking to shock people with your shoes anymore, ya know?. It wasn't until we started getting heavily into vintage that we started to change our opinions of Salvatore Ferragamo. The 80s stuff was completely unhip - downright country club/old lady-ish and that was not in the cards for a bunch of girls in their early 20s. We loved weird buckle boots from Trish and Snooky's shop on St. Marks Place and even the oddball Kenneth Cole shoes that looked like they were made out of rat hair but Ferragamo? Uh - no way. Then one day we came across a pair of 1960s loafers that we all went nuts over - they were so mod and so painfully hip that we all said, in unison, "Ferragamo?". Yes way and none too soon. Vintage Ferragamo leather is about the most comfortable stuff around. You get your foot in there and it warms and shapes to the contour of your foot so you don't even feel like you're wearing shoes. The heels are perfectly placed and always the right height and well, they're perfect - and simple and when you're rounding your middle years, you're not looking to shock people with your shoes anymore, ya know? Coffee brown calfskin riding boots with an inside zip and slightly pointed round toe. 2.75" heels and 17" from floor to top with a tiny signature logo plaque on the outer ankle. Gorgeous, "new", never worn vintage in a size that doesn't really cater to modern feet in a non-childish way anymore. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
