Vintage 1960s Japan Christmas Ornaments Angel Drummer Snowman Lot of 4 MCMWonderful vintage mid-century Christmas ornament lot featuring four whimsical Japanese-style holiday figures: a red angel, red drummer/toy soldier, tall gold drummer/soldier head, and a small silver bird-like snowman ornament. The three larger ornaments measure approximately 4–5 inches, while the small silver snowman/bird measures approximately 3 inches long and 1½ inches tall. The red drummer is stamped JAPAN on the base, and the materials, construction, metallic foils, flocked/felt details, chenille accents, painted faces, and styling of the group are consistent with 1950s–1960s Japanese export Christmas ornaments, most likely circa 1960s. The lot includes:* Red angel with gold halo, metallic wings, blond yarn hair, and patterned red/pink dress* Red drummer/toy soldier with tall hat, drum, drumsticks, and JAPAN stamp...Please note: the red drummer’s head is loose, and the hat could use re-gluing.
