The Stanley Handyman No 4 is a vintage original tool made in the USA by the renowned brand Stanley. This plane has been restored. It has been de rusted and painted. The knob and tote have been refinished and the blade sharpened. **This is a user restoration, not a historically exact museum tool. When possible and when needed, the finish has been carefully color matched to the original style with a durable modern industrial enamel intended for years of workshop use. Our goal is to preserve the character of vintage tools while returning them to the workbench creating woodworker glitter as intended. If you have any questions about the restoration please message and we will be happy to talk. ** Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
