Description

View Noritake Art Deco Lusterware Plate Dandy Gentleman Checkered Cape 7.5" 1930s with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Material: Porcelain, Lusterware. The High Price is Due to the Rarity and Demand these pieces have. They are sought after by both Art Deco and Noritake /Morimura collectors along with Lustreware its a very unique item from nearly 100 years ago. Heavy cosmetic wear overall. There is heavy, visible fading and surface wear isolated to the burnt orange luster border and the outer rim's gold gilt is also faded. Physically is structurally intact with no chips other than what could be considered micro-flea bites around the rim from use/shelf wear, cracks, or repairs. The central hand-painted graphic is fully intact. It has moderate to heavy general cosmetic wear, but no major issues with the structure at all. There is what appears to be utensil wear as well. This plate looks cool its very rare, but it does have a lot of cosmetic wear. I lower prices on listings on a regular basis. Please See All Photos, As They Are Of The Actual Item the Buyer Will Receive. Zoom In and Get a Good Look Too. To save everybody's time, I tend to only describe what is wrong with an item. If I have not mentioned an accessory or separate part and its not in the photos, it will not ship with the item. The buyer assumes all responsibility for the dangers and health risks of any item I sell. Even if the item is designed to be used for food/beverage consumption, some items are older and may contain unacceptable levels of now (or future) known contaminants. If you do use any of these items please rinse/clean before use. They have traveled in a box, I may have used cleaners on the items not designed to be digested. Make no assumptions that everything is okay to put in your mouth and use common sense.
