The Heritage series is designed under the supervision of Mark Kendrick, a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop who has a deep knowledge of vintage instruments, and is packed with specs that will appeal to vintage fans. All models in the Heritage Series are designed based on profiling data of USA products, and the body and neck shapes are also adapted to the age of the instrument. Every detail, from the crosswire pickups and pickup settings and tone to the reproduction of body color, is in the authentic Fender lineage. The Made in Japan Heritage 60s Jazz Bass has an alder body with a lacquer finish that will deepen in color with age. It features a 7.25" radius 7.60s "C" shape maple neck with 20 vintage-style frets, a vintage-style bridge with four threaded steel saddles, and specially selected pickups for the Heritage series. Every specification that makes up this product, including the specially selected pickups for the Heritage Series, has been carefully selected to deliver classic playability and sweet vintage tones.
