Description
View Circa 1850 H. Disston 10" Backsaw - Eagle Medallion - VG Cond. with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. As near as I can tell, the "Disstonian Institure" dates this saw from the late 1840's to the early 1850's. It has the eagle medallion. I haven't done ANYTHING TO IT since it came my way - it could be cleaned nicely as there is no real rust. The top and bottom horns have a sliver missing and there is another small missing sliver near the steel. The plate is straight and has that normal dark patina. The full logo is present. The pics show all this - all in all, this saw is in very good condition for it's age. (LR3. L1 526 E) Condition: Used.
