The head of the SUPERCRAFT mallet is filled with steel shot. This means that when the workpiece is impacted, the energy of the shot is transferred with a slight delay. The reduced rebound allows the impact energy to be absorbed, resulting in extremely powerful impact without vibration which is much easier on your joints. Additionally, an advantage over steel mallets is the reduced noise level.FeaturesRobust powder coating3-component, break-proof handle has a fiberglass core coated with ergonomic and non-slip polypropylene and elastomer layersExtruded hard nylon inserts feature excellent impact quality and very high durabilityReplaceable insertsOAL: 14.37"Head Length: 4.53"Application AreasPositioning and joining of workpieces, assembly of sharp-edged workpieces, straightening work, housing assembly, plant construction, maintenance, repair and overhaul work, assembly and repair work in the automotive and truck sector, sheet-metal working Condition: New.
