Vintage Proto Challenger 5728 NOS 7/8 x 13/16 Satin Chrome Double Open End Wrench. Condition is New. Shipped with USPS. This was in my father’s Proto Toolbox. He was a Proto District Manager for 17 years. Wrench appears to be new. This Challenger wrench has the Trojan hat marking just to left of the Challenger brand name. The Trojan marking indicates it’s older than many newer Challenger models where the Trojan marking was not included. I would say this wrench was from the early 1960’s when my dad started with Pendleton Tool Industries selling Proto, Challenger, Velchek and Duplex brands. This is a collector’s item and fully useable. Dimensions: 9 1/4”L Weight: 7.4 oz. Vintage Proto Challenger 5728 NOS 7/8 x 13/16 Satin Chrome Double Open End Wrench. Condition is New.
